~A few facts~
Sure?os are an alliance of hundreds of individual Mexican American street gangs that originated in Southern California. They are mostly found in Los Angeles and San Diego, but have spread significantly and can be found throughout much of the united states. Sure?os represent themselves with symbols and phrases such as ?Sur 13?, ?Los Sure?os? and ?Sure?o Trece?. These indentifications are accompanied by the color blue, numeric code of number 13 and the Roman numeral of XIII.

The beginning

Julio, a young mexican with a great life ahead of him. Yet he didn't know that, But then again.. no one else did. Julio lived a violent lift in the slums of Mexico. Under the influence of violence, poverty and war. His father was a leader of a violent Mexican street gang "Sur Surenos"
They wear blue rags, obviously must be mexican and were all loyal towards the home street gang.

The build up

When Julio reached the age of seventeen, his father implemented him into the lower ranks of the Mexican street gang. I suppose it was like being "made" But nah' this was different. This was much more painful. Gaining the respect and honour would mean a lot of sacrifice.
Julio, on his first was with his father. His father made him abide by an oath. That he was to always follow, believe and live the life of a Sureno. By completeing this oath he was to have a tattoo. This tattoo was to be almost a full body tattoo. But this tattoo was almost an anointment. Predicting him to being a gread leader. Almost a Prophet.

The reason for Moving on.

Julio carried on living the life of a Sureno for a while under his fathers influnce until one day back at the varrio, there were sirens everywhere. Julio and his father looked out the window at scattering Surenos. all fearing the raid of the police force. Julio's father said to him. "Take this and run. Go." The last words Julio was to hear of his father. But what was it he was gave? It was a photograph. Of him, His mother and his father himself. But why was there no mention of his mother throughout his life?

Best be on our way

Julio did as his father told him too, he ran. Some of the Surenos followed him. They scattered towards train stations, leading to different parts of the country. Some of the stayed with Julio and went off towards Los Santos. Others fled out of the country completley, not to be seen again. Julio discovered that his tattoo's meaning was starting to take it's place. He realised, why he got it. He then understood his duty and his fathers teachings. He was made, to be a leader of the Surenos.

Upon arrival. -The modren tale.

The Surenos made it too Los Santos through what could be called  a huge exspansion throughout their orginisation. Which the Surenos father told Julio to head of to Los Santos with some of the Sureno's and start expanding some more. Upon arrival of Los Santos, their presence had a greant influence on the city. Fear was struck upon the police department in fear of what havok could potentially be caused by a bunch of Mexican gang bangers who fled from their home land. .[/font]
